Job Brief
The Intra Asia Long Haul Service Management Analyst will assist and support the Gulf/Red sea product/planning Manager in managing and overseeing specific lines within Intra Asia Long Haul Trade for the smooth execution of all services under his/her purview through working with all parties across the organization. He/she will also in report generation/execution and preparation of customer advisories/sell sheets to support day-to-day trade functions.
Key Accountabilities
- Monthly/Daily interface with GNA and Ops to ensure that services are operating according to plan and where it is not, work closely to either wrought VSP changes or push for improvements in deliverables by other functions.
- Weekly/Monthly coordinatin with the Equipment Flow Control team to ensure that equipment flows are planeed in a manner that is consistent to quartely plan and to work out solutions that may lead to even higher yield for APL's network
- track overall effective loading declerations and ship level performance to enusre that each ship in each service is fully maximized and bunker consumption is not outside of variance
- Work closely with Feeder GNA team to enusre that sufficient and reliable connections are made available to achieve planned volumes.
- Update various weekly / biweekly / monthly trade reports required by planning fucntion for all Intra Asia Long Haul Lines.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1-2 years of liner experience with understanding of shop operations, network design and yiel optimization principles if preferred
- Strong intellect and analytical skills that enables the incumbent to understand and optimize complex and interlinked rotations
- Drives deliverables mutually agreed to by EFC, GNa, Operations and ensure these are met and delivered on a timely basis
- Strong inter-personal skills and good team player who can work with people of diverse cultural backgrounds
