Job Title: Petroleum Trading Manager, South Africa

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Responsible for trading physical petroleum fuel oils in the African subcontinent markets (Angola, Cameroon, Congo, Ghana, Liberia, Mozambique, Namibia, Tanzania, Zambia etc.)
• In charge of daily sales and trading operations including sales estimates, market data analysis, supply chain management, stock organisation and logistics
• Grow business presence by establishing and developing relationships with new customers and promoting the company’s product range to current customers
• Ensure credit risk management for both existing and new counterparties
• Reports into Head of Fuel Trading

Key Qualifications / Experience

• At least 5 years’ experience trading petroleum fuels (gasoline, jet fuel, diesel fuel, kerosene, marine fuel, heavy fuel oil etc.)
• Solid knowledge of the African oil market, preferable with a focus on the sub-Saharan countries
• Strong understanding of trading across overland borders
• Excellent analytical and strategic skills
• Located in South Africa or happy to relocate
