An established steep growing Overseas boutique Marine Insurance broker have settled down in Miami and to set up an American Regional Office. It is seeking for experienced motivated candidates to join, build up, and grow the Marine Insurance Business.

Who we are:

• 85 members of staff are providing professional services to our international client portfolio
• The Company is since 147 years an important player in the Marine Insurance Sector
• Roughly 3,000 commercial Vessels are covered by our intermediary

Your Responsibilities:

• Managing and Develop a portfolio of Marine Insurance Clients (predominately Marine primary risks such as e.g. H&M and P&I and other ancillaries Insurances) and with a common sense knowledge in the handling thereof;
• Deal with Assured and Insurer in respect of claims management/handling;
• Preparing Proposals and enhanced Presentations for our Clients;
• Servicing our Clients including administration and production of Placingslips, Cover-notes,
• Endorsements, Debit/Credit notes and other relevant administrative duties.
• Co-Develop Business development activities in the Marine Insurance Industry

Our Requirements:

• Possess agent/broker-relevant Diplomas / Degrees/Certificates (and or holds relevant hours)
• ACII or AAII qualification / progression is a definitive pro but not knock out criteria
• Candidates without the Academic qualifications but with proven experience of at least 5 year in (Marine) Insurance Market will be definitely considered.
• Good Communication & Reasoning Skills
• Meticulous, Self-driven, Multi-Task, Self Critical, Organised
• Strong Proficiency in English and Spanish
• Excellent working Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Experience in direct B2B cold calling, resulting in successfully obtaining customer appointments and sales
