28DEC2017 - NEWS - China's Emmision Control Areas

Recently Zhejiang Maritime Safety Agency (MSA) and the Jiangsu MSA of China have issued formal notices for the implementation of low sulfur fuel requirements at all the ports within their respective Emmision Control Areas (ECAs). The ECA regions are Pearl River Delta, the Yangtze River Delta and Bohai Bay. The ships operating in these ECAs will be required to burn low sulphur (at berth) in port starting from 1st Jan 2018.
