[UTC] 16MAY2018 - NEWS - Dredging work at the Port of Karumba has been restarted

According to the New Century Resources, the annual dredging work at the Port of Karumba has been restarted as a part of scheduled operational restart of the Century zinc mine in northern Queensland. This dredging work will provide benefits to the users by allowing expansion of existing cattle export and commercial fishing operations. The Port of Karumba is located at the mouth of the Norman River in the south-east corner of the Gulf of Carpentaria.
