21MAY2018 - NEWS - Asia-Europe carriers will hike rates due to rise in the bunker fuel prices

Bunker fuel prices have shown rising trend since july last year. Due to rise in the bunker fuel prices, Maersk Line spent around 50 percent more on bunker fuel during the first quarter of this year. With the rise in the bunker fuel prices the carriers on the Asia-North Europe and Mediterranean trades have started announcing the hike in the rates.
