03JUL2018 - NEWS - CPC Corporation of Taiwan will buy LNG from US-based Cheniere Energy for 25 years

CPC Corporation of Taiwan on Monday announced a preliminary deal to buy liquefied natural gas (LNG) from U.S. producer Cheniere Energy for 25-years. CPC Corporation which is one of the major importer of liquifeid natural gas (LNG), signed a Heads of Agreement to purchase 2 million tonnes of LNG annually from Cheniere. Cheniere is a pioneer and the current largest exporter of US LNG, owns and operates the Sabine Pass liquefaction terminal in Louisiana.
