Redstone Commodity Search are working with an International Fertilizer Trading company looking to hire a Senior Chartering Manager to join the commercial team in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Finding suitable dry bulk vessels, negotiating competitive freights and subsequently chartering suitable vessels for the company as per requirements from time to time
• Draw and finalize charter parties with vessel owners, working freight estimates for various trades
• Handling daily operations of vessels including monitoring movement/loading/unloading of the ship
• Settlement of laytime calculations with various parties involved, handling disputes etc.
• Reports into CEO

Key Qualifications / Experience

• At least 5-6 years of experience in chartering business for dry bulk cargos
• Experience in chartering ships for fertilizers will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of Middle East and Indian Subcontinent shipping markets
• Direct contacts/relationship with various reputed ship owners and ship brokers.
• Based or willing to relocate to Dubai
