28SEP2018 - NEWS - Cochin Shipyard of India to develop a new ship repair facility

Cochin Shipyard of India has recently entered into an MoU with Andaman & Nicobar Administration for the development of a new ship repair facility on the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in India. According to this MoU, Cochin Shipyard will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the marine drydock at Port Blair, and Cochin Shipyard will assist the administration in setting up of ship repair eco-system at A&N islands and provide skill development & training schemes.
