23OCT2018 - NEWS - Isle of Wight Ferry collides with Yacht during heavy fog on Sunday

The UK Marine Accident Investigation Branch has recently launched an investigation into the collision between the passenger ro-ro ferry Red Falcon in Cowes Harbour, Isle of Wight. The MAIB said the ro-ro collided with a moored yacht, named Greylag, causing the yacht to sink. The ferry subsequently ran aground. A car and passenger ferry collided with at least two yachts while trying to berth at the entrance of Cowes Harbour on the Isle of Wight during heavy fog on Sunday.
