The Oldendorff Carriers vessel Erna Oldendorff struck the Oshima bridge on its way to Etajima, Japan on Monday, 22 October. There were no injuries and no reports of pollution at this time, the company said confirming the incident. The cause of the accident is still unknown.  The Japanese Coast Guard is investigating the collision and Oldendorff Carriers is offering its full cooperation.
