29NOV2018 - NEWS - Port of Kiel in Germany initiates construction on second terminal at Ostseekai

The Port of Kiel in Germany has recently commenced construction on its second terminal building at the northern side of the existing building for cruise passengers at Ostseekai. The terminal will be built at the northern side of the existing building and its functional features are adapted from the existing one. Luggage handling can be found on the ground floor, while the top floor can be used for passengers and the check-in processes. Two cruise ships were handled at one Ostseekai terminal until now, however, there will be a dedicated terminal building for each ship going forward.
