25DEC2018 - NEWS - Greece based Navios Group places order for crude oil tanker with Imabari Shipbuilding of Japan

Japanese shipbuilder Imabari Shipbuilding has recently received an order for a 311,000 dwt tanker from Greek Navios Group. The crude oil tanker is scheduled for completion in fall 2020. The ship design is said to reflect the needs of shippers and shipowners, with the optimum hull and energy saving technologies. To be equipped with SOx scrubber system, the newbuilding would comply with both SOx and NOx regulations.
