20FEB2019 - NEWS - Miami based Royal Caribbean Cruises orders sixth Oasis class ship from French ship building company

Miami based Royal Caribbean Cruises has recently entered into an agreement with French shipbuilder Chantiers de l’Atlantique to order a sixth Oasis-class ship for delivery in the fall of 2023. According to the company, the order is contingent upon financing, which is expected to be completed in the second or third quarter of this year. Royal Caribbean Cruises’ fifth Oasis-class ship, ordered from the French shipyard in May 2016, is scheduled to join the owner in the spring of 2021.
