28MAR2019 - NEWS - Bahrain LNG receiving and regassification terminal to start its commercial operations in May this year

The liquefied natural gas receiving and regassification terminal under construction in Bahrain will start commercial operations in May. The facility is aimed at enhancing security of natural gas supply in Bahrain and will be operated by Bahrain LNG WLL. The company was formed to develop the project, with 30% of shares owned by The Oil & Gas Holding Company of Bahrain, 30% by Bermuda-based Teekay LNG Partners, 16% by Samsung C&T and 24% by the Gulf Investment Corp. (GIC).
