26APR2019 - NEWS - IMO 2020: PETROBRAS OFFICIALLY PRODUCED ITS FIRST BATCH OF VLSFO

Petrobras would like to inform you that last week Petrobras officially produced its first batch of bunker compliant with the upcoming sulphur spec.

The product was made in the Isaac Sabbá refinery, located in Manaus, state of Amazonas.On April 21st, a vessel chartered to Petrobras was supplied with 618 mt, with the following specs: sulphur 0.34%m/m, viscosity 323 cSt@50C, sp. gr. 0.9327 @15C.

Presently, the other refineries are making efforts to test the production of  bunker IMO 2020 compliant.
