Peninsula Petroleum is a leading integrated marine fuels supplier with a global presence. We are seeking an experienced Operational Risk Manager to join our Risk Management team in Gibraltar. The ideal candidate will be competent in fundamental Risk Management and be responsible for developing and maintaining the framework used to assess and identify operational risks across core commercial and operational activities.
The ideal person for this job will be hard-working, goal orientated, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm, to be able to operate efficiently, effectively and professionally within a fast paced, dynamic and results driven environment.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop, execute, co-ordinate and maintain a relevant and robust Incident Management Process;
Develop and maintain an effective internal audit function;
Establish, maintain, and review procedures at management and operational level to identify, monitor and mitigate operational risk;
Drive engagement on key operational issues, define key operational risk metrics, maintain risk and controls matrix.

Professional Qualifications:
Detailed knowledge of operational risk and control processes;
Excellent working knowledge of energy trading and supply chain operations;
Knowledge of Operational Rigour/Testing Frameworks;
Experience in commercial finance, accounting, internal control, business change and business assurance;
Strong IT Skills and aptitude, experience with Energy Trading Risk Management Systems (ETRM);
Extensive experience in setting up a control’s environment (SOX, COSO);
Professional qualifications preferred in ACA, ACCA, CIMA and PRINCE 2.
