16MAY2019-NEWS-Ruler of Fujairah visits port days after reports of attacks

Fujairah ruler HH Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi has committed to expanding the Port of Fujairah during a visit to the port just days after reports of explosions during an attack on shipping in the area.

While the reports of damage to four ships off the coast were confirmed, the UAE denied any impact on shipping at the port itself, where business has continued as normal.
