Sales Executive required by one of the world’s leading suppliers of marine fuel!
The Yacht Fuel Sales Executive will be responsible for selling marine fuel to the yachting industry and promoting the Company’s brand globally.
Yacht Fuel Services is a leading international supplier of yacht fuel. It is part of the renowned World Fuel Services group who are recognised as being the world’s leading provider of marine fuel and a leading Fortune 500 Company.
This is a unique opportunity to join one of the leading suppliers of marine fuel within one of the world’s largest ports for yacht fueling.
Core Duties And Responsibilities Include
Trade Gasoil and ULSD and arrange all of the logistics for delivery of these products to the yacht.
Negotiate with captains, chief engineers, yacht management companies, and fuel suppliers around the world.
Manage requirements from existing Yacht customers.
Proactively develop new business opportunities from existing customers.
Proactively prospect for new business opportunities from new customers – research and analyse client opportunities and develop/implement action plans for attaining the new business.
Analyse and disseminate appropriate market information to identify new business opportunities.
Frequently visit existing and new customers.
Maintain a database of active customer targets and prospects.
Promote the Company through attendance at international trade shows.
Regular international travel and working outside of normal working hours office hours
The Individual
The successful candidate is likely to have sales experience. Alternatively, a desire and passion to initiate a career within sales to the yachting industry.
A graduate qualification in Shipping, Finance, Economics or a similar field is desirable.
The ability to speak and write fluently in English is essential.
Strong interpersonal skills and at ease with speaking to senior customer and supplier stakeholders.
Strong negotiation skills are essential.
Strong analytical skills and an attention to detail are essential.
Strong organisational skills and strong written and oral communication skills are essential in order to respond to all enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Strong IT skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite is essential.
Experience of inputting data quickly and accurately is essential.
The desire to succeed and develop within a fast-growing global company is essential.
A willingness to travel internationally is essential.
