Job description 
Mabanaft is the trading division of Marquard & Bahls. The Mabanaft Group as an independent supplier concentrates on physical oil trading. Its core business includes regional trading and wholesale, retail business to end-consumers, operation of service stations, and bunkering. In addition, the Group is
involved in trading liquid gas, liquid and solid biofuels. Through our subsidiaries and representative
offices, we are well positioned in all important regions worldwide.

We are currently looking for a

FUEL Trainee Business Analysis / Trading (m/f/d)

to join our international FUEL trainee program (My Future in Energy & Logistics) at our headquarters in Hamburg, starting September 1, 2019.

What can you expect?
In the first months, you will get to know our business, e.g. the sales department, the tank storage and the service-station businesses as well as different commercial departments. 
You will deepen your know-how while supporting international trade as well as the retail and end-consumer businesses. You will acquire knowledge in risk management and work on projects. 
Your trainee program will be rounded off with a posting at one of our affiliates abroad. 
You will assume tasks from the day-to-day business and take on responsibility from the beginning. In addition, you will be able to expand your strengths through targeted development measures. 
With personalized support from HR and a mentor, you will lay the foundations for your future in our company group.

What do we expect?
You have successfully completed your Master’s degree in business sciences or another relevant discipline 
You have gained first experience through internships (preferably abroad) in the areas of commodities and/or energy (mineral oil/biofuel) 
You have a strong affinity to finance, controlling and/or IT 
You have an excellent level of written and spoken English and good German language skills; additional languages would be a plus. 
A strong intercultural competence makes it easy for you to integrate into international teams. Furthermore, you are geographically mobile and like the idea of working abroad later on in your career. 
Your profile is rounded off with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as team spirit and a “hands-on mentality”.
