Job Objective :
To plan, supervise, and coordinate operation matters of Qatar Shipping Fleet Vessels in a manner that will improve the efficiency help and achieve the Qatar Shipping's mission and goals, and result in outstanding customer service.

Class 1Deck
Master on Tankers
Excellent knowledge of Office and web applications.
Business fluent English
Experience in Sailing
Job Responsibility
Assume responsibility for commercial post-fixture and operational services to vessels, Monitoring the day-to-day operations, Appoint agents and funding
Keeps track of vessel movement, verifies quantities of cargo on board, discharged and kept at storage facilities
Coordinates with agents and vessel crew to ensure availability of supply according to time, cost and quality requirements.
Checks Bills of Lading/ in all respects, assist chatering team in preparing freight invoices and submiting for release of payments
Maintains awareness of·the logistics and operations of the fleet, ship inspection, cleaning and drydocking schedules.
Calculates the requirement of bunker, lubes and provisions for each voyage
Voyage Performance monitoring and analysis of all Fleet Vessels on a regular basis
Corresponds with Protection & Indemnity club for ship's cargo & cover
Liaise with vessels and Charterers for day to day operations
Coordinates the flow of information between the commercial, marine, technical and Crew Manning sections
Liaise with vessels ard Charterers for day to day operations
Assists Sr. Manager, Marine and Operations in establishing Operation procedures compliant with international regulations.
Develop and maintain working relationships with existing and potential charterers and brokers.
Participate in Operational management review
Assists in developing Qship's Contingency plan for Emergency situations. Ensures that all Operations are conducted in compliance with Qship's Safety Management System and applicable international Safety
Act as a member of emergency Response team in case of Emergency
Ensure operations/work processes occur in accordance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and any other standards and requirements to which compliance is required
Ensure the health and safety of all employees and the protection of the environment for all sites/work premises under their control.
