Monjasa Marine L.L.C is looking for a Shipping Agent. If you are someone who acts as a representative of the owner of the ship and carries out all essential duties and obligations required by the crew of the ship in your current role, then we are looking for you.

As a Shipping Agent in Monjasa you will work under the direction of the Agency and Operations Managers and be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activities for vessels while in port, including boarding and husbanding vessels as required. This also includes all necessary arrangements and coordination prior to the vessel’s arrival and after the vessel’s departure.

Areas of focus

Coordinate vessels call to UAE ports, including port calls, layby berths, bunkering/owners matters etc.
Coordinate and update all concerned parties on vessel movements
Prepare forms and documentation as per local rules & regulations
Coordinate crew changes, including transport, immigration and visa formalities
Spare parts delivery arrangements & customs.
Boarding of vessels and vessel inward & outward clearance
Perform other related duties at the discretion of Agency Manager

Your professional skills

Bachelor’s degree holder
Minimum 3 years of experience in U.A.E as a Shipping Agent or similar Knowledge of shipping, maritime, or oil industry will be an added advantage
Fluent in written and oral English. Arabic will be an advantage
Valid U.A.E driving license and comprehensive knowledge of U.A.E roads 
Knowledge of Dubai Trade Portal
