Role Responsibilities for Freight Trader:
 
Physical freight trading within the dry bulk segment, along with the associated hedging activities.
Bunker trading and hedging of cargos.
Pricing of internal and external freight rates.
Negotiate contracts with ship owners and charterers.
Conduct market analysis to remain informed on all matters related to the relevant trade routes and pricings.
 
Individual Attributes for Freight Trader:
 
Full understanding of the hedging activities.
Minimum of 5 years freight trading.
Experience within the panamax and/or capsize segments is essential.
Knowledge of the global trading routes within the respective markets.
Proficiency with MS Office pack.
Fluency in English is mandatory due to target market.
Eligibility to live and work in Switzerland.
